Zusammenfassung:	The filter insert is inserted into an opening provided laterally in an air channel 10.The insert has a lid 26 which can be lock off an inlet opening 14 in the side wall of the channel. The rigid locking nose (50) of the cover (26) works with a holding surface (60) as part of a conformably shaped surround strip (62) adjoining the air channel (10) sidewall (12) with its admission hole (14). An elastically deformable seal (34) round the cover (26) lying between nose (50) and channel exterior (10) deforms to contact the strip (52) and so complete nose and strip contact. This strip reaches into the channel (10) and comes in rectangular section of required thickness so the closing surface of the strip forms the holding surface (60) specified.
