Zusammenfassung: | The vehicle horn system includes a proportional integral differential (PID) regulating system with variable impedance using a force or pressure responsive input element (12), which operationally responds to an increasing force applied by the user on the input element, in order to provide a decreasing electrical impedance. A circuit is connected with the PID and works in conjunction with the vehicle power source and detects alterations in the impedance of the switch, and produces a corresp. electric control signal which indicates the alterations. A power amplifier is connected with the vehicle power source, and is connected in order to receive the control signal at its input, and which is operable, in order at its output to deliver a driver signal, which is modulated according to the control signal. An acoustic converter (50) is connected with the amplifier output, so that the converter transmits an output signal of greater loudness, if the force of the user is increased, which is applied at the PID. The control signal is pulse width modulated. |
