Zusammenfassung:	The leak proof cover system of a housing (1) of a lighting device for cars, especially headlamps has an elastic housing covering (2) which is connected with an outer sealing edge (3) to the edge of a housing opening. It is held at the edge of the housing opening and a light unit located in adjustable fashion in the housing and it bounds a central opening (9) with an inner sealing edge. There is an electrical connector (7) which is fastened detachably to the light unit (5) containing one lamp and is sealed to the inside of the housing. The elastic housing covering with the inner sealing edge lies tightly on the electrical connector which is a part that can be plugged into the central opening of the housing covering.
