Zusammenfassung: | A spray drying nozzle has a cylindrical vortex chamber (2b) with a tangential inlet slot opening (2a) of constant cross-section. Preferred Features: The nozzle outlet tip (1) and the vortex chamber body (2) are soldered in an intermediate housing (4) which is inserted into the nozzle housing (3). The vortex chamber body (2) is pot shaped and closed by the nozzle outlet tip (1), both the vortex chamber body (2) and the nozzle outlet tip (1) being axially aligned ceramic components and having same outside diameter. A seal (5) is provided between the nozzle tip (1) and the intermediate housing (4). The vortex chamber (2b) has conical end faces. The slot opening (2a) has a cross-section four times greater than that of the nozzle outlet opening and has a length which is two to three times its width and/or is offset from the vortex chamber body axis by a distance of D - S/2, where D is the vortex chamber diameter and S is the slot opening width. |
