Zusammenfassung:	The device for seat adjustment in a car for the car seat of a driver comprises at least one adjusting device for the angle of a back rest of the car seat, the position of the seat and switches assigned to the adjusting devices. At least one of the switches (2,3) is located on a steering wheel. To the switches are assigned a transmitter and a receiver associated with the adjusting devices for contact- free signal transmission. The switches are lettered alphanumerically and/or in pictogram shapes. By means of operating a switch of the associated adjusting device, the seat or back rest can be adjusted only about one fixed adjustable stage.
