Zusammenfassung:A hard magnetic samarium-cobalt alloy powder is produced intensive fine grinding of a starting alloy powder and disproportionation in a hydrogen atmosphere and then hydrogen desorption heat treatment. A hard magnetic samarium-cobalt alloy powder is produced by: (a) mixing the individual and/or pre-alloyed alloying element powders to form a starting powder; (b) subjecting the starting powder to intensive fine grinding and disproportionation in a hydrogen atmosphere at above 0.15 MPa at 50-500 deg C for 1-100 hr.; and (c) carrying out a hydrogen desorption heat treatment at 500-900 deg C.
