Zusammenfassung: | In hard magnetic material production by hydriding-disproportionation- desorption-recombination (HDDR) treatment of a Sm-Co alloy, disproportionation is effected at a high hydrogen pressure. A hard magnetic samarium-cobalt based material is produced by subjecting a Sm-Co alloy to a hydriding-disproportionation- desorption-recombination treatment in which disproportionation is effected at above 0.5 MPa hydrogen pressure at 500-900 deg C. Preferred Alloy: The starting alloy has the composition SmxCo100-x or SmxCo100-x-a-b-cFeaCubZrc, where x = 10 to 30 exclusive, a = less than 45, b = less than 15 and c = less than 15. |
