Zusammenfassung:	A corrugated tube for protective sleeving of electrical conductors has a slit-shaped opening running along a surface line whose edges designing the slit have locking devices that close the slit off in detachable fashion. The corrugated tube is made from an elastic artificial material and the locking devices (5, 6), as soon as pressure is put on the tube, join together, sliding one over the other and hooking together. When no more pressure is exerted, they are held in the locked position by the tension introduced previously into the tube by the pressure. The tube in the non- locked state has an elliptical cross-section and the slit is provided in the cross-sectional plane running through the two foci of the ellipse.
