Zusammenfassung:	The head rest (1) for a vehicle is provided with headphones (2) which are releasably integrated into the head rest (1). The head rest (1) is preferably formed with at least one recess on the upper and/or side surface of the head rest (1) in which the headphones (2) are integrated. Preferably the headphones (2) are wireless with an integral receiver esp. a high frequency receiver with a low frequency end stage. Alternatively the receiver may be an infrared receiver. A voltage contact (6) may be arranged in the head rest (1) for charging the batteries of the headphones (2). The voltage supply lines (7) of the voltage contact (6) may be fed to an external voltage supply via the head rest holder (8). An audio signal transmitter (9) in operative connection with the headphones may be integrated in the head rest (1).
