Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	The engine has gas-inlet and outlet ports (3,4) with valves (6,7) together with a sparking plug (14) for each cylinder (1). In cross-section both the piston crown (11.1) and the cylinder-head (2.1) are roof-shaped, one face on the head containing the inlet valve and the other the outlet valve, the faces on head and crown running in the same direction. The crown contains a trough-shaped recess (12) extending over the ridge and into both faces. The injector nozzle (8) discharges into the cylinder alongside the inlet valve, and the plug (14) is mounted in the head near the vertical cylinder axis (5). The nozzle and inlet port can be inclined to this axis, delivering towards the outlet port, the axis of the injector jet being at a greater angle to the vertical.
