Zusammenfassung:	The simultaneously measured flow data concerning each branch line (5-9) is stored in a computer which compares them with one another, and indicates a fault when a deviation of the flow in a branch line from the flows in other branch lines exceeds a specified amount. Besides a computer, the claimed device includes flow measuring devices (17-21) and a data presentation unit which also serves for fault indication.
