Zusammenfassung: | The roller bearing is designed to accommodate axial loading and may bear against a nut at the end of a shaft. It has first (1) and second (2) bearing races facing each others with grooves (3,4) of the same diameter to accommodate the balls (5) which carry the axial load. The races have a large central bore which may accommodate a shaft. There is a retaining member (7) which may have a flange (11) extending into the central bore of the second ball race. It extends (9) along the end face of the race remote from the groove, and extends (8) up the outside, forming a bridge between the two races. The edge of this portion is curved inward to prevent the first race from moving away from the second race. |
