Zusammenfassung:	Open pored blown glass granulate has a grain size of 0.5-8 mm and an open porosity of 20-85%, and comprises a granulated blown-sintered mixture of low melting and high melting glass components. Production of the granulate is also claimed comprising forming a mixture of glass powders made of two recycling glasses of different chemical composition and blown temperature, a binder and a blowing agent, granulating the mixture and heat treating the granulate above the blown temperature of the glass powder acting as pore former, preferably 650-900 deg C.
