Zusammenfassung:The horse shoe has an outer hoof cover (3) used as the walking surface, secured to the hoof (2) by at least one contact strip binding composed of at least two elements (5,6). The contact strip binding forms an intermediate layer between the hoof surface (2') and the outer hoof protection. The hoof protection and-or further protection elements, are made of a thermoplastic material such as polyamide (PA) or polyoxymethylene (POM), or of a thermoplastic material such as polyester, vinyl ester or phenol. Alternatively the protective material can be an elastomer such as rubber or a metal such as steel, aluminium or an aluminium alloy, magnesium or a magnesium alloy. An adhesive bond can be a twin-component adhesive such as an acrylic adhesive. The specification is an addition to 19630660.4.
