Zusammenfassung:	The supporting elements are formed by a frame consisting of flat frame modules (10) extending from front to back of the counter and connected together by cross bars (6) so that the frame can be expanded in modular fashion. The cover (30) and/or goods display (20) can be hung, locked or detachably fixed in another way from the frame. The frame module has a continuous horizontal upper frame profile defining the bearing support plane for the counter attachment or goods display. At least two locking elements (16) are spaced from each other at a distance equal for all modules.
