Zusammenfassung:The assembly plate has a receptacle for holding at least one optical fibre in a defined position. A first receptacle (18) has a reception region (22) for the fibre (12) and a second receptacle (20) has clamps (28) for receiving the ends of the optical fibre. The clamps are configured with respect to V-shaped holding grooves (32,38) to enable the ends of the optical fibre to be manually and/or automatically processed. The first receptacle (18) has holding pieces (24,26) for retaining the fibre on the assembly plate. The clamps on the second receptacle are relatively displaced by 90 degrees. The assembly plate may include a magazine for receiving optical components to be coupled to the optical fibres.
