Zusammenfassung:	The production of a rotationally symmetric component with a specified outer contour out of blank, according to which the blank is fixed to the spindle of pressure roller machine and set in rotation, and at least one pressure roller is applied to the blank to produce a component with a component with the specified outer contour. The the blank is made of a composite material made up of fibre components and a metal matrix. During pressure rolling the composite material is compacted and/or strengthened.
