Zusammenfassung:The process recovers paraffins and microcrystalline wax from mixed waste plastic, which consists predominately of polyolefins. The feed is melted down and pre-cracked at 350-390 deg C. Melt is partially recycled. Cracking is completed at 390-430 deg C with partial melt recycle and destructive distillation. The novel feature is that batches of the plastic fractions are plasticised, homogenised and forced into the melt of the pre-cracker directly, using a screw piston injector (4) in one or more heated cylindrical tube(s) (3).
