Zusammenfassung: | To produce solid bodies from raw materials of rejuvenating and/or biological origin matter, the raw material mostly of cellulose is ground and reduced to fibres with a lignin content of 5-50%. For bonding, raw lignite is broken down and activated in an intensive wet process together with 1-15% of slaked lime, and pref. 5%, to denature the vegetable content matter and give a bond between wood and activated lignite components, and they are mixed together intensively. After the mixture has dried to a residual moisture content of 5-25%, it is compressed under a high pressure to give a direct and irreversible change of matter in the activated lignite and also between wood and carbon. Pressures to form the material into shaped bodies are \- 600 bar and pref. 1000-1400 bar. |
