The guide rail is protected by a cover system (6) and is acted on by a cleaning system (2), such as a brush. The brush is connected in front of the unit foot (3) in the movement direction. The brush is connected to the unit foot. Each guide rail is provided in each movement direction with a separate cleaning system. The brush may be rotatable.
