Zusammenfassung:	the method controls an electronic arrangement contg. at least two modules which communicate via an optical bus. It involves switching each module to reception in power saving mode for a period (T) which is small compared to a common sampling period (P) for all modules. One module sends an interrupt signal on an optical bus with duration equal to or greater than the sampling period. At least one other module is switched over to permanent reception on receiving the interrupt signal in the subsequent sampling interval.
