Clarifier suitable for clarifying beer of all types and origins

Universal beer clarifier consists of silica sol, comprising an anionic and a cationic silica sol in (1-6):1 ratio, which are first contacted with one another in the beer to be clarified. Also claimed is a method of clarifying beer with these silica sols.
