The attachment (5) acts an auxiliary switch for indicating the switch position of the LV switching device (3), or as a signal contact for indicating switch release and is coupled to the LV switching device via a switch position or switch release detection device. A field bus interface device stores the switch position or switch release indication and is addressed via a bus telegram, received from the field bus system (6), for signalling the switch position or switch release to at least one further field bus subscriber (7).
