Zusammenfassung: | With rotors for electric motors, the commutator is usually mounted on the rotor shaft by means of a press fit connection, which results in undesirable damage to the surface of the rotor shaft. The invention relates to a novel rotor, in which the rotor shaft (2) and the rotor core (3) mounted thereon are electrostatically powder-coated with an epoxy layer in sections (12) and (13) of the rotor shaft (2) and in the winding slots (6), and then heated to the plastification and setting temperature of the epoxy. Using a sliding tool (19), the commutator (7), the inner bore of which has a loose fit in relation to the rotor shaft (2), is slid into its final position on said rotor shaft (2). As a result, the still viscous epoxy (14) is pushed back, forming a radial rim (22) against the connecting face (23) of the commutator, and penetrates into the circular gap between the inner bore and rotor shaft. Once the epoxy layer (14) has cooled down, the commutator (7) is fixed to the rotor shaft (2) in a non-rotational and non-sliding manner. Said rotor is suitable for various types of electric motors. |
