Zusammenfassung:	The support dish is made as a casting preferably by the process of pressure diecasting in aluminium alloy. Heavy extensions (12) are cast on which have a damping action on audible vibrations which occur during braking. Reinforcing ribs (7) further contribute to this damping action. Ribs (4), around the circumference, are used to stiffen the light parts of the dish webs and lugs to which the brake cylinder and other components are to be attached are cast integral with the dish. Cast-in holes (3) are used to attach the dish to a vehicle shaft.
