Zusammenfassung:The electric switch is adapted to be built into the wall of a device. The switch has a switch housing (11). A movable contact (17) bridging a contact fixed in a switch position is provided in the switch housing (11). The switch also has an actuator member (19) which has a switch extension (20) which engages through an opening (22) in the housing. The switch extension moves the movable contact (17) into its switch position. This protects the inside of the switch housing against penetration of impurities. A seal (27,29) is provided between the opening (34) of the device wall (13) and the switch housing (11) and/or between the switch extension (20) and the switch housing. Both seals may be connected to each other via an elastic washer.
