Zusammenfassung: | The head recording the multi-colour picture is moved in a main and in a secondary scanning direction. It has more recording elements in the main scanning direction, and is moved in the secondary scanning direction in order to vary the density (dots per inch) or the surface ratio of each pixel to correspond with the density of the document or picture being recorded. This objective is also attained by combining the colours yellow, magenta, blue and black. A pixel is formed for each of the colours by a point and a hole or gap, and the point has either a fixed form and variable density or variable form and fixed density. |
