Zusammenfassung:	The substructure has a side-mounted brace (1), which is located between front (25) and rear (20) side members. The rear side member can extend underneath the floor body. A door sill can be fitted to the outside of the brace. The brace is formed from a base body (2) and an insert (3). The base body consists of a horizontally extending base plate (4), a bottom section (5) running beside the base plate and an inner wall (6) connected to it. The insert consists of a bottom section (15) and an outer wall (16). The two bottom sections lie one above the other, so that their parallel walls form a U-shaped profile.
