Zusammenfassung:The hydraulic clutch control is improved by connecting a control module (5) between the master cylinder (2) and the slave cylinder (3). The module has a bolt-on design and includes one or more control valves. Its function is to eliminate sudden transients, due eg. to variations in engine torque, and to enable a smooth clutch operation. The module is bolted directly to either the master cylinder or onto the slave cylinder eg. as an extension to the cylinder housing. The size and shape of the module depends on the layout of the clutch system. The module controls the rate of application of the clutch and reduces clutch wear. The module is connected to the system with conventional couplings.
