Zusammenfassung:	Elastomers are produced by extruding diisocyanates, poly-OH cpds. or mol. wt. 800-3500, glycols of mol. wt. is not >300, opt. triols of mol. wt. is not >500 and release agent, reaction being carried out at 90-220 degrees C. in multi-screw extruder, opt. with simultaneous moulding. These elastomers can be used for machine parts e.g. cog. wheels, sockets, cable covering, hose, sealants and bushes. Process gives considerable saving in heating, since casting to sheet, granulation and subsequent hot moulding are eliminated.
