Zusammenfassung:The endplate removal process involves using a support disc (9) as a counter-holder for the cutter (6). The axis of the support washer is at an acute angle or parallel to the container axis. The disc has an outward-open groove round it on which the fold (3) runs to position the container. The disc is brought against the inside of the fold above the container lid (2). The cutter is brought against the fold in a cutting direction roughly parallel to the container walls. The container is turned relative to the cutter, cutting through the fold to cut off the endplate.
