Zusammenfassung:The system has a fibre optical amplifier (1) with a doped fibre (2) connected to a pump light source (6). There is a wavelength selective filter (5) at one end, which reflects signal light back into the doped fibre and allows pump light (PL) to pass. The wavelength selective filter can be realized by mirroring the fibre end (8) with an interference optical film. The wavelength selective filter can alternatively be realised as a Bragg grid. The pump light is coupled into the fibre at the wavelength selective filter end.
