Zusammenfassung:	A collector (1) is disclosed for highly heated, at least partially fluid materials, such as liquids, slags, molten masses and the like, in particular for high-temperature molten masses (2) from the reactor area of nuclear power stations. The collector (1) has at least one substantially horizontal spreading surface (3) arranged below a distributing element for the highly heated materials. A plurality of local flow hindrances (8) for the highly heated material moving on the spreading surface (3) are arranged on the spreading surface (3) and are suitable for causing local steam explosions produced when a water film (7) is present on the spreading surface owing to the material swirling locally and mixing with water.
