Zusammenfassung:	A process for metering plasticised plastic materials is effected by extruding mixed and plasticised melt into a storage vessel (22) and metering directly from this vessel when required. During metering the extruder barrel (12) is sealed off from the storage vessel (22) by a part of the extruder screw (13). Metering equipment (10) comprises an extruder (11) with an outlet (21) at the end of the barrel (12) connected directly to a storage vessel (22) and an outlet (29) from the latter for the metered material. A specific form of the equipment has a sealing member at one end of the plasticising screw (13) which closes the outlet (21) when the screw (13) moves axially along the barrel (12).
