Zusammenfassung:	The system has a magnet (1) mounted on a first element (2) and a detector (3) mounted on a second element (4) for detecting an angular position of the magnet and for generating a detection signal if the magnet is in a defined angular position wrt. the detector. The detector can contain a Giant Magneto-Resistive sensor for detecting the magnet's angular position. A comparator generates the detection signal when a sensor output signal coincides with an information signal corresp. to the defined angular position of the magnet.
