Zusammenfassung:	Mono- and dis-azo dyes of formula (I), derived from 2-alkyl-6(7)-naphthoic acid, are new. A, K = optionally substituted phenyl or naphthyl; R = hydrogen (H), unsubstituted acyl or a 1,3.5-triazinyl or pyrimidinyl group substituted by chlorine, fluorine or a beta -sulphato ethyl sulphonyl- or vinylsulphonyl-substituted aniline or naphthylamine group; the carboxyl (COOH) group is in the 6- or 7-position; m, n, v = 0 or 1; n = 1 if m = 0; v + m ≥ 1. Also claimed as new is 4-hydroxy-7-(4'-(4"-benzoylamino)-3'-sulphophenylamino)-naphthalene-2- sulphonic acid of formula (II);
