Zusammenfassung:	The switchgear (10) comprises a contact set (15) in a current path within the switchgear, which is suitable for switching off load and overcurrent. An impact armature system comprises an electrical coil (14) in series with a first sensor (16). The sensor (16) is used for current measurement and the output signals from the sensor are supplied to an electronic evaluation circuit (25). The electronic evaluation unit detects low overcurrent and medium short circuit current so that a latch is triggered for opening the contact set. The impact armature system is provided for switching off the high short circuit current.
