This consists of a breathing air bottle (1) or at least a suitable compressed air bottle which is intended to be filled with compressed breathing air. The breathing air bottle is closed by a pressure reduction valve (3) and has a foot stand (9) for mounting upright if required or a back strap for carrying it on the operators back. Alternatively the bottle can be wheeled on a trolley.
