| Zusammenfassung: | A clip for use with a pulse rate detector comprises two interlinked arms 8,9, preferably linked by an articulated shaft 3, and two clamp means 4,5 for engaging the ear lobe. When the arms are pressed towards each other to fasten to clip to an ear lobe a space 10 is present between the two arms to accommodate the lower lobe, auricular cartilage. The device can be used in the presence of earrings which are accommodated for by the space 10. The clip is particularly suited for use when taking pulse rates from exercising individuals. |
