Zusammenfassung:	An exhaust gas filter for passing exhaust gas of a diesel engine or the like therethrough, thereby removing particulate matter from the exhaust gas. By suitably controlling physical properties of the exhaust gas filter such as a thermal expansion coefficient, the durability of the exhaust gas filter can be enhanced. When a constituent material for the exhaust gas filter includes aluminum titanate as a primary component, the durability can be further enhanced.
