Zusammenfassung:	The damper or leg is secured by elastic mountings between the vehicle superstructure and a wheel-guiding member. The piston rod (1) and/or the housing have two or more lateral elastic mountings (4). Each of the latter has separate rubber mounting bushes (5). The mountings can have bearing washers (6), to each of which a piston rod and/or housing is fixed. Alternatively, the free piston-rod end can be fixed to a bell-shaped component (2) which supports the washers, while fixing devices (9) parallel to the damper axis pass through the washers.
