Zusammenfassung:The electronic weighing unit has weighing system with inherently safe components and a mains connection unit, arranged in separate housing outside the explosive risk zone. The inherently safe cable also contains data leads (37), besides the leads for voltage supply. Data is transmitted in series data leads. A first series/parallel date converter (30) converts series data into parallel data and stores it so that it cannot be further led parallel asynchronous in the non-explosive risk zone. At least one second parallel/series data converter is also accommodated with the first converter (30) is accommodated in the housing of the mains connection unit. The second converter (40), stores the incoming data from the non-explosive risk in parallel configuration, converts in to series data, and transmits in series across the cable (1) in the explosive risk zone. In the evaluation unit (20), also at least first converter (30) converts series data in to parallel data, stores and further passes it to the evaluation unit and at least a second converter (40), which stores the parallel data, converts it to series data and transmits in series across the cable.
