Zusammenfassung:The neutralising process involves feeding the material (e.g. a, b) into a rotary furnace (1), sending it into a reaction zone (3), and at the same time compartmentalising it, so that the material is thermally transformed in an atmosphere containing oxygen. The reaction products are fractionated (5) and taken out in the form of solid, liquid and gaseous products. The fractionation takes place in at least one screw conveyor forming part of the rotary furnace, and by passing through chain curtains.
