Zusammenfassung:The chamber (1) receives its material (11) on cars (10) and comprises a horizontal pipe (22) made of glass fibre reinforced plastics. This is supported by a fixed bearing (5) at one end and several movable bearings (6) along it. A row of fans (18) with associated heat exchangers (19) lie along it so that drying air is blown through the adjacent material and associated heat exchanger. Preferably the fans and heat exchangers are positioned at a predetermined height above the material, one above the other. The chamber may be subdivided by transverse bulkheads (12) with openings for the cars to pass through.
