Developing apparatus for electronic image generating or photographic systems

The apparatus realises the phenomenon of the magnetic brushes by supplying a developer to an opposing photosensitive body with photoconductivity using several developing rollers with magnetic attractive force. The rollers are arranged near the photosensitive body. The device has a first developing roller and has a single pole developing magnet on a developing pole for assisting development. The pole is movable in a direction opposite to that of the photosensitive body. The device also has a group of second rollers including one or more development rollers with several magnetic approximating attractive forces. Several magnets of the same polarity are arranged near a developing pole for development. The first roller is arranged upstream of the direction of movement of the photosensitive body. The group of second rollers are arranged downstream of the direction of movement of the photosensitive body. The first roller and the photosensitive body define a circumferential speed ratio of between 0.5 and 1.5. The group of second rollers and the photosensitive body define a circumferential speed ratio of 0.6 to 1.5.
