Zusammenfassung:	The method involves controlled penetration of the magnetic field probe or sound into the ground by means of a press device. The magnetic field is measured. Positive and negative magnetic field changes around the probe during the penetration are detected. The magnetic field changes are evaluated and interfering bodies and layers are determined by magnetic field assessment. The device for carrying out the method has a magnetic field probe (3) which is cylindrical and has a penetration tip (9). Magnetic field detectors are arranged inside the cylinder. The probe is in connection with the press device (1) via a telescopic tube or rod (2), such that the probe can be pushed into the ground (8).
