The obtained prints are provided on the photographic paper each accompanied by associated alphanumeric characters. The characters are provided electronically in a subsequent step. The alphanumeric characters for a number index print images are provided simultaneously by printing at respective positions on the surface of the photographic paper using an electronic exposure process.
