| Zusammenfassung: | The invention concerns a gas sensor, in particular a sensor for the exhaust gases from internal-combustion engines, with a planar sensor element fixed by means of a seal in a longitudinal bore in a housing, the seal having two shaped parts held together by a spring element and, disposed between the two parts, sealing material which surrounds the sensor element. The invention calls for at least one of the shaped parts (30, 32) to form a cavity for the sealing material (40), the sealing material (40) in the cavity being compressed and/or plastically deformed by the other part (30, 32) by means of the spring element (48) and held in the compressed and/or plastically deformed position. |
