Zusammenfassung:	A car headlamp has a hollow casing (10) of synthetic resin with a male connector(20) at the back for the glass base (30) that is cast as a one-piece item with the bulb. A female connector is at the end of a lead from the voltage source. The male connector is made by bending a thin metal plate which was previously cut to shape. Between the prong of the connector and the collar where it holds the neck of the bulb is a section which is fastened to the casing. The collar has an L-shaped base with sides at right angles and bent over ends which make contact with the wires protruding from the flat neck of the bulb.
