Zusammenfassung: | Production of composite finned tubing for the chemical industry on a modified lathe into which is fed the tubing and the strip, three rollers being applied set at 120 degrees relative to each other having codirectional axes with each other and the tube, the roller being mounted on a universal mounting plate. Each roll is of composite construction with a slot of guiding the strip into position, the frong portion pressing the groove for the strip into the tubing and rolling a V into it in the process of securing the strip, the latter action being also applied by the rear portion. The strip is of trapezium cross ection this being formed in situ. during the feeding in operation by passage between truncated cone rollers. |
